Platform: PC (Microsoft Windows)
Had been waiting for this for years and it didn’t disappoint. Wildly impressive, funny, clever and very satisfying. Music and sound design are great. Can be challenging but never outstays its welcome.
While not for me, a remarkable technical feat in many ways. Absolutely gorgeous, so expectedly demanding, especially in VR where things can get a bit janky.
As simple as they come, but strangely hypnotic and addictive. Love it. Sadly I am still fat IRL.
Really cute & wholesome little adventure game. Artstyle is great, writing is solid, gameplay loop is addictive and fun. Alba is a really great, relaxing excursion which can be finished in one sitting.
Pretty fun turnbased roguelike which starts really strong & has some promising ideas. Mechanics which could potentially have lots of depth sometimes fall a bit flat ultimately, but worth checking out.
A really solid, fun foundation, but clearly a year or two away from completion. Core systems are either underutilised or entirely absent. Undeniably gorgeous if you can run it.
An autorunner with a dash & slide attack. Some of the original charm is here, but the (very clever) effort that went into making an autorunner interesting doesn’t quite make up for what’s now missing.
If you can stick around long enough to see through the shameless BOTW clone, Genshin has its own somewhat charming personality, and pretty fun combat. Its F2P gacha model becomes restrictive unless you’re up for an insane grind or… becoming a whale.
Interesting mechanics, great sound, cute animations and more importantly, clever puzzles. The core mechanic takes a sec to reveal itself and make sense, but stick with it. Impressive polish for a gamejam game.
Giant Sparrow’s PS3 game finally comes to PC! An immediately captivating start is followed by clever explorations of mechanics that make for a delightful game which doesnt outstay its welcome. Get it!
