Platform: PC (Microsoft Windows)
Retro inspired rhythm game with lots of cute homages to other indies, challenging levels and a commitment to simplicity that today highlights what went wrong with the sequels.
One of the best loot-shooters ever. Terrific writing by Anthony Burch, with memorable moments and characters. Awesome co-op experience, definitely a must-play.
The gunplay, loot and world design and graphics are all excellent (and still stand-up in 2018), but the characters, bosses and story leave a little to be desired. Worth a buy, especially the sequel.
An almost flawless explosion onto the scene by Jon Blow. Simple mechanics that grow increasingly complicated, making way for some challenging puzzles inside a beautiful and sombre world. Must play.
This game has its flaws; some of the quests are cheap & some of it feels drawn out or heavy-handed. Overall though, it’s a good time. A lot of care went into this, and it shows in charming art and VA.
One of, if not the best couch co-op games around. Classic beat-em-up sidescrolling action with great design and super fun combat.
Genuinely beautiful visuals and music and an engaging enough story to distract from otherwise pretty standard turnbased RPG gameplay.
A simple but unique puzzle platformer which may seem gimmicky but is actually quite good, if a little buggy.
