Not for everyone by virtue of its hyper minimalism, but a treat of exploration and simplistic Soulsy combat. Short little experience which can be completed in one sitting.

Well, someone sure liked Bioshock! Personally I found this ultimately a little too long, frustrating and disappointing - but overall still very engaging. The visuals and VA are certainly remarkable.

GOTY contender. Visually absolutely stunning, and incredibly cinematic with outstanding direction. Combat is surprisingly fluid and visceral. Story and characters are engaging. Really, really good.

Twitch-bait masochism simulator in the vein of Getting Over It. The simplicity is attractive, but unless you’re into those kind of intentionally frustrating, annoying and difficult games - stay away.

If you like mind-bending puzzlers like Antichamber or Superliminal, this is a must play. Its minimal visuals are exquisite, the sound design is perfect and the music is even handy to gauge progress.

One of the best adventure games I’ve played. Outer Wilds is a temporal, mysterious and unique exploration game with super charming visuals providing unique emergent experiences for those up for it.

If you liked old, good Fallouts, you’ll likely enjoy this. Quite a bit of interesting RPG depth including the classic conversational options. An instant classic of the genre if a little safe at times.

You know what it is: the much memed third-person honk-‘em-up starring a horrible goose. All the press it got was deserved, it’s fun and funny as hell. Also, great to see games from my home town!

An often woefully misunderstood game by way of limited playtime. A uniquely existential & at times emotional experience; frustrating and laborious by design. A metagame for people who love games and a rumination on human connection. Visually & sonically beautiful - very special game.

Synthwave pixelated bullet-hell roguelike. Not my favourite control scheme and could do with some optimisation, but worth checking out if that’s your kinda thing.
