Canโ€™t blame them, but someone clearly loves Bloodborne. Thymesia is cool and like a lot of new soulslikes, has a bunch of neat ideas, but somehow feels like less than the sum of its parts. Decent.

A relatively short, and undeniably Tiny version of Darkest Dungeon. Could do with a bit of a QOL uplift, but still very fun and superb value for money. Cute, compelling strategy, and great music.

As mechanically experimental as it is visually. Youโ€™re a pizza delivery guy tryina infiltrate a nightclub. To do so, youโ€™ll roll dice - lots of dice. Seemingly inspired by Disco Elysium in a lot of ways, which can only be a good thing. Really cool.

Max Payne DOOM Tony Hawk. Super fun; cool little setting and story, nice presentation, and makes you feel better than you probably are. Feels a bit weird at first but doesnโ€™t take long to get used to.

Vampire Survivors + SNKRX. Really clever, solving some problems other games in neighbouring genres suffer from. Not a huge fan of the art and stuff, but it doesnโ€™t really matter.

Hate the visual design, love the game. Scratches the Slay the Spire itch, but with its own compelling & distinct design. Very more-ish, just stick with it through the intense tutorial. Really cool.

A really fun balance of roguelike dungeon crawling and Animal Crossing colony sim inside a slick package of stunning art and great music. Bit buggy at launch, but still great and ripe for expansion.

Another take on the recent singleplayer semi-autobattler boom. Movement feels strange at first, but is interesting and doesnโ€™t take long to get used to. Good value, but would love if it was longer.

Lovingly crafted and it shows - Stray is poetic and touching. Looks and sounds gorgeous, as well as providing a chuckle or two. Fantastic world building. Puzzles are simple but not mind-numbing. ๐Ÿˆ
