Absolutely love the artstyle and palette of this little Bomberman-like. It adds its own mechanics & flavour, and at times is fun, but generally the story is pretty redundant and overall not amazing.
An often misunderstood game and a remarkable achievement from a tiny team led by someone with an uncompromising vision. The world does not care about you and you are not special. Sublime.
Decent follow-up to Her Story. Great production, but some of the magic is gone: it’s not as immersive and some of the writing is a struggle. That said, definitely play if you love FMV games.
A beautiful love letter to oldschool Zelda et al. Starts off slowish and somewhat opaque (by design), but if you stick with it, the pay-off is pretty good. A wonderful little puzzlebox of a game.
Starts off small in scope, but somehow just keeps expanding and delighting. Great characters, art, music and satisfying gameplay loop/s. Constantly surprising and funny.
A simplified and more arcadey MH:W. Combat feels a bit more dynamic, navigation and traversal is easier/better, story is still mediocre. A good port considering its origins, and a pretty good game.
Fun and creative little puzzle game with great art - perhaps shorter than some would like, but a cool game exploring its base concept nicely nonetheless.
Cleverly expands on what Obra Dinn did with the genre while painting a gripping story. Doesn’t waste your time or rely on gamey logic. Extremely hard to pull off, but it’s been done wonderfully here.
A peaceful and tactile puzzle game aimed at those who love things neat, tidy & organised. For the most part quite zen & intuitive, but solutions or controls can sometimes be a bit finnicky.
