Lives up to its name, clocking in around an hour or two, but still quite dense. A minimalist and beautiful artstyle paints a charming little world full of cute characters and great writing.

Cute co-op platform puzzler. Movement is simple making it approachable for people who don’t play a lot of games. Lots of levels… and cute hats.

Cute little couples co-op game. Starts simply enough and is mostly fun throughout, if a little samey throughout the second half with timed and platforming stuff.

Great co-op game requiring concise communication. Cute aesthetic. Good for couples. Improves on almost everything in its predecessor and now includes online mode.

An extraordinary game that breaks most if not all conventions and will constantly surprise and challenge you. A seminal must-play. Best to go in blind.

Roguelite, deckbuilding, dice-rolling fun. Really clever design that surprisingly works a lot better than you’d think. Presentation belies its complexity at times.

I fucking love Blendo’s story games. Brendon Chung is so clever and funny, I will play everything he puts out. Quadrilateral Cowboy is no exception, but has the standard roughness around the edges.

Good co-op game that actually requires co-operation and will test your communication. Decent sequel, but suffers from one players side being a lot more passive.

All layers of presentation are brilliant in this uber-dark (verging on edgy) souls-inspired metroidvania, but often I felt it leans too hard into its tone. Difficulty can be pretty cheap at times.

A sad remnant of a promising game which languished in development hell resulting in an eventual complete redesign for the worse. I had a great time in its alpha, but this is no longer that game.
