Genre: Strategy

Pretty fun turnbased roguelike which starts really strong & has some promising ideas. Mechanics which could potentially have lots of depth sometimes fall a bit flat ultimately, but worth checking out.

Fresh & clever, Ring of Pain’s simplistic inputs bely its depth and difficulty. Absolutely stunning art, haunting music and great sound are underpinned by a fun and addictive gameplay loop. Love it.

Inspired and innovative little puzzler. Has cool lore/story, as well as interesting puzzles reminiscent of The Witness. Just the right level of challenging and wonderfully polished.

If you like plotless, repetitive grinding with constant progressive rewards, and have an addictive personality - this is the game for you. Very honest and well made, but won’t be for everyone.

Remember when Valve teased new Portal content? And it was a bridge constructor? FeelsBadMan. On its merits though, this is a great little puzzle game. Relaxing, challenging, and allows for creativity.

I’m not usually a huge fan of turn/tile-based X-COM style strategy games, but Othercide’s setting, aesthetic, lore and indeed roguelike aspects hooked me. Has its issues, but absolutely worth a look.

A simple idea executed remarkably well. A calm, satisfying and clever puzzle game which left me wanting more.

Satisfactory is one of the most aptly named games ever. It’s a brilliant first-person factory-builder, and its sprawling open world combined with complex logistics and intuitive building mechanics provide unmatched satisfaction upon solving automation challenges. After five years in early access, Satisfactory cements itself as a wonderfully addictive, genre-defining accomplishment.

Charming little couples co-op, physics based platformer. Can get a little repetitive and difficulty curve may be a bit steep for some partners.

Cute co-op platform puzzler. Movement is simple making it approachable for people who don’t play a lot of games. Lots of levels… and cute hats.
