Genre: Simulator
Fascinating and complex systemic game design, executed extremely well. The systems allow for virtually endless emergent scenarios amongst the rewarding exploration and fun, chaotic combat.
Devolver are crazy, man. Love ‘em.
It’s as if someone said “what if Firewatch was a sandbox survival?” And… it’s kinda cool. Visually beautiful and very inviting. Lots of promise, so will watch the roadmap.
“Subnautica in space” wouldn’t be fair - some aspects are a lot more tedious and limiting, but it’s still a super fun & engaging survival game dedicated to humour and environmental storytelling.
Was super excited to jump into this intriguing and excellently crafted Bladerunner-esque world, but soon felt a bit underwhelmed by the gameplay loop. Still a fun (and huge) world to explore.
A simple idea executed remarkably well. A calm, satisfying and clever puzzle game which left me wanting more.
Overwhelmingly adorable. Farming and dance-battling RPG where everything is cute and nobody gets hurt. Really great artstyle & design. An achievement worth celebrating given the small team.
Satisfactory is one of the most aptly named games ever. It’s a brilliant first-person factory-builder, and its sprawling open world combined with complex logistics and intuitive building mechanics provide unmatched satisfaction upon solving automation challenges. After five years in early access, Satisfactory cements itself as a wonderfully addictive, genre-defining accomplishment.
[100+ hours pre-Steam] Fun with friends… for a time. Really great artstyle. Does what it says on the tin. Almost better as just background while hanging/chatting.
Absurd, funny and clever. You’ll immediately know if you’re gonna like this game. I found it a great exploration of a single, seemingly simple idea.
