So masterfully crafted, creative, confident and bold that it immediately makes the rest of the openworld genre feel dated and uninspired. A landmark achievement and a very special game. Masterpiece.

Heaps of depth, lots of build variety. Graphics are good. Fans of the genre will like it. Debates about P2W are mostly definitional misunderstandings - it’s not really an issue. Really fun.

Well put-together and crazy addictive autobattler slot machine. Obviously hugely RNG dependent, but fun enough to keep coming back.

Deckbuilding roguelite escape room ARG. An inspiring masterpiece & wonderfully executed ode to card/videogames. If you’re into that kind of thing, it’s a must play. So, so impressive. Mullins is nuts.

Arkane Lyon being laser focused & showing a broader audience what immersive sims can feel like. Aesthetic, feel, mapdesign & VA are all top-notch. I just wish the ‘solution’ wasn’t so prescribed.

The genre-defining browser classic comes to Steam, bringing all its apocalyptic Grandma madness along with it. If you didn’t dedicate a browser tab to this for thousands of hours, you didn’t live.

Death’s Door is a triumph: combat & movement are tight and dynamic, the level design is great, the art and music are fantastic, enemies and bosses are interesting. Really well-rounded and executed.

Unbelievably cool. Vibrant, evocative and just dripping in style. Seeing the dystopian Māori culture in a game was cool enough, but the exploration of disaffection and other themes is *chef’s kiss*.

A tight, stylised & skilful first person s̶h̶o̶o̶t̶e̶r̶ thrower which is as fast as it is gratifying. Combat is awkward at first but soon clicks & feels great. Its relatively short length is spot-on.

Incredibly pretty little isometric puzzler. Never becomes particularly challenging, but the latter sections are a tad tedious. Didn’t expect the heartfelt story. Genuinely hope they make more!
