Quite likely the best 3D platformer ever. The perfected, foundational movement is creatively explored and tested through several worlds brimming with ideas which constantly surprise and delight. Masterpiece.

While it’s not “the Dark Souls of platformers” (because that’s stupid), it is quite challenging and famously gorgeous. This is a true labor of love and is absolutely more than the sum of its parts.

This is a very special game. It’s beautiful and ugly, heartfelt and heart-wrenching. Hands-down the best take on psychosis in videogames (with no real comparison), best experienced with headphones.

A rogue/soulslike with a great aesthetic and lots of potential, but sadly underwhelming after having been abandoned by its developers before introducing sustainable amount of content.

Behemoth’s crazy, typically absurd & funny take on a simple tactical RPG. Great characters, world and the usual quality animation. Fun with a friend if a little repetitive eventually.

RUINER is a brutal action shooter with an insanely cool aesthetic, great music and engaging characters. Controls can be a bit frustrating on gamepads.

Pyre is not for everyone, but the Supergiant hallmarks of amazing worldbuilding, dialog, art direction and interesting mechanics are all here. This is their most different game, but no less brilliant.

An enormous world, wonderfully fleshed out with great writing, characters and tonnes to do. Incredible production, varied gameplay and fun as hell. Manages to explore the setting and tropes without being tacky.

I’m not and have never been a fighting games expert, so feel ill-equipped to critique SFA3 mechanically, but it’s the one I spent the most time on. Awesome lineup, great styling, hella fun.

Unassuming, difficult classic platformer - it’s not really a rogue-like, but there is certainly permadeath. There’s a charming physicality to the movement and combat, and it’s overall worth a play.
