The latest Nintendo Direct has revealed or confirmed all the final details of their new console, including a release date: June 5. The screen is a 1080p LCD with HDR and ‘up to’ 120fps - will allow 4K when docked. 256GB of storage. The new Pro Controller has a headphone jack, two programmable buttons, and the new C button used for “GameChat”.

Elden Ring: Nightreign is set to launch on May 30. Hell is Us has a release date - September 4. It’s a third-person action-adventure set in a war-torn land plagued by supernatural threats. No maps or quest markers, just a drone and an ancient sword. Looks cool.

The story-driven action-platformer Darwin’s Paradox! puts players in the role of an octopus; climbing, camouflaging, and ink-attacking. Combined with immersive use of DualSense feedback, could be a cool experience.

Dreams of Another from PixelJunk arrives on PS5 and PS VR2 in 2025. Set in a surreal dreamscape, it’s a creative shooter where ‘destruction fuels creation’, blending artistic exploration with intriguing mechanics. Looks neat.
