Beast of Reincarnation is a new action RPG from Game Freak, set in a far-future sci-fi Japan. You play as Emma and her companion Koo, switching between real-time sword combat and a turn-based command system for the dog. It’s a strange and promising setup. Launches August 4 on PS5.

IO Interactive showed more of 007 First Light, an original Bond origin story set before his recruitment into the 00 programme. Team Cherry has announced Hollow Knight: Silksong - Sea of Sorrow, a free (!) 2026 expansion bringing new areas, bosses, tools and more in a nautical-themed update for all Silksong players. More details are due closer to launch.

Star Wars: Galactic Racers was announced as a fast paced arcade racer set across the Star Wars galaxy. It is not a straight revival of podracing, but the high speed chaos clearly echoes it. As someone who loved the original, this feels like a nostalgic nod wrapped in a more modern arcade racer format. Keen.
