Genre: Platform
You play a cat in a robot suit. That should be enough, but the game is actually solid. Simple, funny, full of homages, tight controls and good level design. It’s pretty short, but worth your time.
Some of the most fun platforming around at the time. Loved the art, characters, level design and perhaps more than anything - the music. My cousin deleted my savefile and I haven’t forgiven him decades later.
Great Instadeath platformer with cool graphics, cool music and a surprisingly addictive story. Does a good job of grounding mechanics in the plot. Can be frustrating at times, but overall pretty good.
Procedurally generated rouge-lite with a unique and brilliant art style. A little cryptic to start with but eventually addictive gameplay, if a little simplistic/shallow.
Interesting puzzle game with simple action and metroidvania elements, great level design and charming graphics. Combat is kind of annoying, but the game overall is worth a look.
Confusing at first & I think that’s a good thing, so go in blind. The controls are a bit slippery at first but they get better. This has tonnes of depth and the combat is rewarding if a little spammy.
PC players response to the lack of action-adventure platformers in lieu of Nintendo titles - and a damn good one. Don’t be fooled by the cute exterior, this game is very clever, funny, and varied.
Another in the line of 2D soulslikes. This one is quite a bit more derivative than most, and I’m sure somewhere beneath the clunky mechanics and lack of polish is a decent game, but I struggled.
An artistic exercise in persistence and hopefully eventual triumph.
Creepy 3D puzzle platformer with stellar art direction & eery atmosphere. Great environmental storytelling throughout the 5-8hrs playtime. Puzzles range from creative and rewarding to frustrating.
