Beautiful and slightly mind-bending at times. Fantastic music, writing and VO. Controls can be a bit janky, and puzzles feel a bit directionless in the middle acts, but overall very, very good.

A mesmerising, hyperactive, colourful and emotionally rich rhythm game - super cool. Great design overall and fantastic music to carry it all the way to the end. Artistic, honest and addictive.

As heartfelt and charming to play as it is to look at. Warm, cosy and quintessentially British, I Am Dead is a exploration/puzzle game with a unique mechanic and ruminations on community.

Giant Sparrow’s PS3 game finally comes to PC! An immediately captivating start is followed by clever explorations of mechanics that make for a delightful game which doesnt outstay its welcome. Get it!

Refreshingly honest and polished little narrative physics game reminiscent of Katamari Damacy. Adorable visuals, music, characters and writing.

The expectedly unexpected and magical from Keita Takahashi again. Won’t be for everyone but I found it adorable, funny and just long enough to not outstay its welcome.

Beautiful, short interactive story made in Melbourne. Likely too twee for a lot of people, but I really like it and am glad it came across from mobile.

One of the best adventure games I’ve played. Outer Wilds is a temporal, mysterious and unique exploration game with super charming visuals providing unique emergent experiences for those up for it.

Ashen is a refreshing take on the soulslike, capturing all the right things; challenge, exploration and intrigue. Bosses are a bit easy, but still fun. The VA is its only drastic weak point.

I didn’t know what to expect and I suggest you go in blind too. Unique, heartfelt and wildly compelling, this story and the way it is told is nothing short of a masterpiece.
