Seemingly simple, but absolutely delightful and just as dense as it needs to be. Lead a group of adorable creatures through beautiful landscapes amongst its charming visuals and super chill soundtrack. The controls are simple, and the gameplay is engaging, making it perfect for a lazy - dare I say cosy - Sunday.

The latest from Jeppe Carlsen, lead gameplay designer of LIMBO and INSIDE - COCOON is just as intriguing, creative and moreish. The puzzles are really nice, and all a good level of challenge. Everything else, from the visual and sound design to each little interaction wouldn’t be misplaced in a ‘Satisfying Aesthetic ASMR Compilation’ video. Really cool.

Decent follow-up to Her Story. Great production, but some of the magic is gone: it’s not as immersive and some of the writing is a struggle. That said, definitely play if you love FMV games.

Fun and creative little puzzle game with great art - perhaps shorter than some would like, but a cool game exploring its base concept nicely nonetheless.

Somewhere between Journey and BOTW, but with a tighter and shorter focus. Great to look at, fun and satisfying to play. Could see it being repetitive and unrewarding for some, but its core is a nice.

Cool game, but peaks early and feels like an explosion of ideas never quite came together. Great to look at and feels quite nice, but ultimately not particularly satisfying or compelling. Brief fun.

The actual gameplay is amazing; clever, frantic, elegant, demanding & creative. Unfortunately for me it was punctuated by insufferable characters and dialog (which is thankfully now skippable). Cool, but didn’t get the hype.

Lovingly crafted and it shows - Stray is poetic and touching. Looks and sounds gorgeous, as well as providing a chuckle or two. Fantastic world building. Puzzles are simple but not mind-numbing. 🐈

Could probably afford to be a little shorter: not as many options as I would’ve liked, yet it takes a while to get through. Great VO and cool story - not exactly the game I expected, but still good.

An influential masterclass in the application of atmosphere and subtlety. Beautiful, powerful, surprising and mesmerising - Journey is a must play.
